'Home Through a Kaleidoscope' is a personal and reflective 8-minute film about what it means to return “home” when you no longer fully belong to just one place.

Following a month-long trip across the Philippines with my Dutch boyfriend and friends after several years living abroad, I realize that not only has the way I see and experience my mother country shifted significantly, but that it probably always will.

This film is a kind of love letter to the Philippines (and to the Netherlands), written through a lens that's colorful, somewhat complex, and also ever-evolving. It explores themes of identity, belonging, and what truly matters in life beyond the noise of the "modern world".
